A year at our school

Boolaroo Public School turns 125!

It was a fantastic day honouring our school’s proud history, our community, and the generations of families who have been part of the Boolaroo story.

Book Week

Each year, we joyfully celebrate Book Week with our school community including Boolaroo-Speers Point Preschool. Students have the exciting opportunity to dress up as their favourite book characters and take part in a lively parade around the school. Our book fair offers a wonderful chance for students and families to purchase books and other engaging items, fostering a love of reading and learning.

Glow Disco

Our school discos are always a highlight of the year, bringing together students and staff for a fun and energetic celebration. With great music, dancing, and plenty of smiles, the discos provide a wonderful opportunity for students to connect and enjoy themselves in a safe, supportive environment. Events like these strengthen our sense of community and create lasting memories for everyone involved.

Podcasting

Our students love sharing their voices through podcasting! This exciting program gives them the opportunity to plan, record, and produce their own episodes on topics that matter to them and our school community. Through podcasting, students develop confidence, communication skills, and creativity while learning about collaboration and digital media. It’s a wonderful way for our learners to connect, express their ideas, and celebrate what makes Boolaroo Public School unique.
